Golisano Children’s Hospital - Lee Health is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist.
Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida is a state-of-the-art pediatric facility that delivers vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region. The 135-bed regional hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only children’s hospital between Tampa and Miami. Golisano provides a variety of specialized services for our community’s children ranging from emergency care to behavioral health, surgery to critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more. Golisano also features a 36-bed med/surg unit, 16-bed PICU, and a 70-bed NICU with 24-hour in-house neonatology coverage.

Position Information Lee Health - Lee Physician Group (LPG)
is seeking a full-time Pediatric Hospitalist to join their team of physicians and advanced practice providers at Golisano Children’s Hospital. Ideal candidates will be BE/BC in General Pediatrics with pediatric hospitalist experience or completion of a Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship. This position is set up with a schedule that includes abundant consecutive days off to maintain a wonderful work-life balance. Awards and Community Profile Golisano Childrens Hospital has been named Top Childrens Hospital by The Leapfrog Group four times. Golisano is home to Southwest Florida’s only state-designated Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Center and is a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Golisano is recognized as an Asthma Friendly Hospital by the Florida Asthma Coalition. Most recently Golisano Children's Hospital was recognized as a Certified Autism Center. Golisano is the second hospital in the United States and first in Florida to receive this designation.
The Leapfrog Group announced its Fall 2024 Hospital Safety Grades and all four Lee Health hospitals have earned top marks, with Cape Coral Hospital, HealthPark Medical Center and Lee Memorial Hospital being designated as Straight A hospitals for earning an A in at least five consecutive Hospital Safety Grade reporting cycles.
