VP, Strategy The VP, Strategy serves as a strategic partner and advisor to the Chief Business Officer & EVP, Software & Analytics, driving execution of key initiatives and ensuring cross-team alignment. This role translates high-level priorities into actionable plans, manages cross-functional collaboration, and oversees preparation for executive and board engagements. Acting as an extension of the CBO & EVP, Software & Analytics, the VP, Strategy ensures clarity, accountability, and progress against strategic goals. What Our VP, Strategy Will Do
Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Chief Business Officer, translating priorities into clear plans and measurable outcomes. Drive execution of key initiatives, ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely delivery across teams. Lead preparation and follow-up for executive meetings, board updates, and strategic communications. Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to advance organizational priorities and resolve operational challenges. Act as a trusted advisor and proxy for the CBO, ensuring continuity, clarity, and strategic alignment. Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing, engaged business unit, which may span multiple units or departments and may include managers, senior managers, directors, and Associate Vice Presidents. Create workforce plans and staffing strategies that onboard and retain exceptional talent. Work with Executive Leadership and peers to establish strategy and execution plans. Adopt and reinforce company policies, processes, and programs. Ensure adherence with the company’s tools and processes to lead a world-class organization. Oversee the performance management and development process for the business unit. Drive and foster the company culture that emphasizes the strategy, guiding principles, and core values. 10 years managing people, including multi-functional teams 15 years in domain or relevant experience Ability to manage conflict Leadership, relationship building, communication, and influencing skills Assertiveness, directness, and a ‘company first’ mentality Ability to break down complex issues and communicate in simple terms Lead through influence Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage, influence, recognize, motivate, coach, and develop team members Understanding of domain interdependencies across areas Ability to handle confidential information Negotiate complex business situations to effective outcomes Drive strategic alignment on priorities with Senior Leadership Willingness to take on challenging assignments Budgeting, project structuring, partner management, and staff structuring Strong presentation skills for all levels Act as evangelist and trusted advisor Project management capabilities What’s In It For You
