Job Description
The position will include up to 15 hours of work per week including the following:
Work with other counseling students across the university to expand student participation in Counselors for Social Justice (CSJ); Help to plan and implement one CSJ event during the semester; Research and compile resources for students related to experiences of BIPOC, queer, trans, non-binary, neurodivergent, and other intersecting marginalized communities to be shared with counseling students and faculty, supplementing current curriculum materials Qualifications
Experience with community organizing and/or event planning, social media, or other communication platforms Understanding of intersectionality Dedication to social justice advocacy Clinical Mental Health Counseling student Does this position meet the definition of Community Service? Yes
