Staffmark Drivers is looking for an experienced and reliable CDL Class A Driver to join our team in Picayune, MS. This is a direct hire opportunity with a great hometown company, offering steady hours, competitive pay, and the benefit of being home daily! Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM | No overnight routes Job Details Route: Local deliveries and pickups for a building supply yard Freight: Touch freight - handling and delivering building materials Unload: Assist with loading, unloading, and handling customer purchases or returns Vehicle Type: CDL Class A commercial truck Lifting: Must be able to lift heavy materials as needed Work Environment: Outdoor setting, all weather conditions Responsibilities Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle for local routes Load and unload building materials with care and accuracy Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups Follow delivery schedules, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor Conduct required pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and report any maintenance issues Represent the company in a positive and professional manner Qualifications Valid CDL Class A License and current DOT Medical Card At least 1 year of recent verifiable driving experience (within the last 3 years) Clean MVR and FMCSA Clearinghouse report No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents within the past 3 years Experience in building materials, construction, or delivery preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors Staffmark is committed to providing equal employment opportunity for all persons regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, marital status, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, pregnancy, medical condition, genetic information, mental and physical disability, political affiliation, union membership, status as a parent, military or veteran status or other non-merit based factors.
