Role Summary
The Technical Business Analyst will bridge business and technology teams to support and enhance clean energy programs using Agile methodologies, UAT, and key tools (Azure DevOps, JIRA, Salesforce). Candidates must have strong business analysis, communication, and documentation skills, along with relevant certifications and experience in similar environments, preferably in the utility/energy sector. Key Responsibilities
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams for clean energy programs. Translate business needs into actionable, scalable software solutions aligned with regulatory requirements. Directly support the development, enhancement, and reporting of clean energy initiatives. Facilitate user requirement workshops and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, and QA to guide solutions from concept to deployment. Organize, prioritize, and manage user stories and development sprints using Agile methodology. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT): create test plans, scripts, and log defects. Prepare system and process documentation, including customer journey maps and workflows. Conduct user research, experience mapping, wireframing, and usability testing. Analyze and troubleshoot complex system/process issues. Engage with internal/external stakeholders for alignment and transparency. Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and evolving program needs. Required Technical Skills & Tools
Strong business analysis and documentation skills. UAT planning, scripting, and defect tracking. Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint organization. Experience with Azure DevOps and/or JIRA for ticketing and project tracking. Salesforce: reporting and business analysis. Project Management certifications: PMP, CPM, or CSM. Excellent oral and written communication; ability to translate complex technical concepts. Experience designing, managing, analyzing, testing, or improving software systems. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, cross-functional teams. Preferred/Nice To Have
Agile Scrum certification. Experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst. Knowledge of Salesforce testing. Experience in Azure DevOps. Familiarity with energy/utility sector, especially energy efficiency or demand-side management. QA testing experience. Adaptability to change and evolving environments. Summary
