Oracle Fusion Cloud Senior System Administrator
to join our Enterprise Application Team and our ERP Transformation Program. In this role, you will be instrumental in the deployment, ongoing maintenance, and optimization of our Oracle Fusion environments (ERP, EPM, GTM, OIC). You will leverage your expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and robust security practices to ensure the stability, performance, and security of our core business applications. What You'll Do
Environment Management:
Lead the creation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle Fusion environments across Sandbox, QA/Test, and Production instances, ensuring alignment with project lifecycles and business requirements.
Environment Strategy:
Manage our full environment landscape (Production, Sandbox, Test, Dev).
Quarterly Updates:
Coordinate the quarterly updates from Oracle with the Oracle Application Architect, across IT and the Business.
Cloud Infrastructure (OCI):
Administer and optimize OCI components relevant to Fusion, including compute, storage, and access management.
Integration Management (OIC) and Data Management:
Collaborate with integration teams to manage and monitor integrations built using OIC, ensuring seamless data flow between Fusion ERP and other enterprise systems.
Integration Monitoring:
Monitor integrations, troubleshoot failed data transfers or API calls.
Data Management:
Manage data imports/exports using tools like FBDI, and troubleshoot data load errors.
Security & Access Management:
RBAC:
Create, manage, and customize job roles, data roles, and security profiles.
User Provisioning:
Onboard new users and ensure correct role assignments.
Segregation of Duties (SoD):
Work with Internal Audit and Business Teams to implement and enforce SoD rules.
Security Audits:
Use RMC to run reports on user access and support audits as part of quarterly access reviews.
Single Sign-On (SSO):
Manage configuration and synchronization of users between Oracle Fusion and the corporate identity application.
Service Management and Oracle Liaison:
Own logging, managing, and escalating Oracle SRs for bugs, performance issues, or configuration questions; handle service notifications from Oracle.
Monitoring & Performance:
Use Oracle dashboards to monitor application performance and service health.
Troubleshooting & Support:
Provide expert troubleshooting for Oracle Fusion ERP, OCI, and OIC issues, collaborating with Oracle Support as needed.
Documentation:
Create and maintain documentation for system architecture, configurations, processes, security policies, and troubleshooting guides.
Collaboration:
Work with Business IT teams and 3rd party partners to support new requests and ongoing operations.
Strategic Input:
Contribute to architectural discussions, capacity planning, and future roadmap development for our Oracle Fusion landscape.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in Oracle ERP system administration, with at least 4+ years focused on Oracle Fusion ERP and OIC.
Proven expertise in creating and managing Oracle Fusion ERP environments (Sandbox, QA, Production).
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including relevant IaaS and PaaS services.
Solid understanding and practical experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for enterprise integrations.
In-depth knowledge of Oracle Security features, role management, data security, and audit capabilities within Fusion ERP.
Understanding of general cloud security principles (shared responsibility model, least privilege, encryption, network security).
Experience with upgrades and performance tuning of Oracle Fusion ERP.
Familiarity with SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
Examples of Other Desirable Skills, Knowledge and Experiences
Relevant Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle OCI Certified Architect, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Implementation Specialist).
Experience with other Oracle PaaS services.
Experience working with 3rd party managed service providers (MSPs).
Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
Experience in a Fortune 500 or large enterprise environment.
