Territory Territory: Midwest

Covering: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota

Essential Duties and Responsibilities As the Game Ready Territory Manager – Sports Market, you will be responsible for achieving sales objectives across professional, collegiate, and high school athletic programs within your territory. This is an individual contributor role requiring the development of new business, expansion of existing accounts, and collaboration with multi-regional distributor representatives to maximize market penetration.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve or exceed capital sales objectives for Game Ready products in the assigned sports market territory.

Build strong relationships with athletic trainers, team physicians, strength coaches, and sports administrators across professional, collegiate, and high school levels.

Support multi-regional distributor representatives through joint sales calls, training, and account strategy execution.

Manage a territory pipeline of new business opportunities, from prospecting to closing, while driving adoption in existing accounts.

Conduct in-services, product demonstrations, and educational sessions with athletic training staff and sports medicine professionals.

Provide product expertise and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Accurately manage all sales activity in CRM systems and provide timely business updates to leadership.

Partner with the Regional Sales Manager to align territory activities with strategic business goals.

Monitor competitor activity and provide actionable market insights.

Ensure compliance with Avanos policies, healthcare regulations, and credentialing requirements.

Your qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sports medicine, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience in medical devices, sports medicine, or athletic industry.

Proven ability to sell into professional or collegiate sports programs.

Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Ability to travel extensively, including evenings/weekends for sports-related events.

Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Preferred:

Capital equipment sales experience.

Background in athletic training, orthopedics, or sports medicine.

Salesforce.com or CRM proficiency.

Salary and Benefits Salary Range: The anticipated base pay range is $75,000.00 – $110,000.00. This role is eligible for an incentive compensation program and benefits. In some locations, the pay range may vary from the base posted.
