With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers rely on KLA to ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. The Global Products Group (GPG) creates all of KLA's metrology and inspection products. The RAPID division provides reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry, serving both mask shops and semiconductor fabs to ensure high lithography yields and cost-effective manufacturing. Job Description / Qualifications

Specific responsibilities include: Perform controller tuning, performance characterization, and troubleshooting for precision mechanisms used in the generation of EUV light Define test specifications and select, procure, and assemble hardware for mechanism bench testing. Run experiments and develop data collection and processing tools. Characterize motion performance and mechanism interactions at the integrated light source level. Use testing and analysis to understand observed behavior. Define and drive improvements if needed. Collaborate with a cross-functional team to bring prototype systems online and participate in testing of complex calibrations and algorithms. Follow the initial systems through Alpha test, delivery and Beta test at one or more customer sites. Preferred qualifications: Background in precision motion control with hands-on experience integrating, testing, and optimizing complex mechanisms Experience working with semiconductor equipment in cleanroom environments Working knowledge of Matlab/Simulink for controller development and tuning; ability to develop Python scripts for data analysis Minimum Qualifications Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master’s Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor’s Degree and related work experience of 5 years Base Pay Range: $114,100.00 - $194,000.00 Annually Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas KLA’s total rewards package includes performance incentives and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k) with company matching, employee stock purchase program, student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement, development and career growth opportunities, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program, paid time off and holidays, and family care and bonding leave.
