Overview
Job Duties: Vice President, Trading with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in New York, New York. Responsible for trading BRL FX Spot and Forwards, providing client color, managing OnOff basis, client risk management, and book risk management. Responsible for daily market activities on market making such as managing Goldman Sachs inventory related to Brazilian assets. Provide liquidity and prices for investors looking for Brazilian foreign exchange assets. Model and execute trades that involve foreign exchange assets. Provide visibility on Brazilian assets to investors and Goldman Sachs management. Build and maintain an FX franchise in Latam. Coordinate with Sales, Strats, and others teams across the firm. Manage client demand and facilitate large trades. Assess the risk and reward of potential transactions. Work closely with the trading team, sales, strats, controllers and legal. Responsibilities

Bachelor\'s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative field such as Mechanical Engineering, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Five (5) years of experience with: conducting quantitative analysis and modeling on interest rate and derivative pricing; extrapolating bid-offer spread from realized volatility; in-depth understanding of macroeconomics and interest rate products; performing financial modelling and pricing of derivatives to ensure prices and analytics are written correctly and valid numbers produced. Developing tools, models and analytics to support derivatives trading; development and support of risk reports, coding the required analytics, testing accuracy and robustness, and leading how to use the new functionality. Working on project teams and coordinating projects across multiple teams. Domestic and international travel required approximately 5% of the time to attend client meetings.
