Job Goal: Under general supervision of the Director of Curriculum & Instruction, provides leadership, coordination, and management for the Summer High School Credit Recovery Program. Job Location: TBD. Supervisory Position: Yes. FLSA Status: NonExempt. Terms of Employment: Casual/Seasonal. School Year Dates: 1/1/2026 – 8/7/2026 approximately 5 hour-10 hours per month (specific dates TBD). Summer Dates: In-service dates: 6/22/2026 – 6/23/2026. Student Date Range: 6/24/2026 – 8/7/2025. Coordinates Summer High School Credit Recovery Program (9-12) offered by the District. Manages the Summer High School Credit Recovery Program and works in collaboration with the Administrator, and Pupil Services Summer Program. Compiles orders for instructional resources, establishes training sessions for summer school staff, and coordinates delivery of materials to instructional sites and storage after programs end. Works with District Technology Department on student data reports for schools, registration process, attendance, and grade reporting where appropriate. Assists with recruitment of teachers and staff for the Summer High School Credit Recovery Program. Assists with registration and student staff assignments. Assists with student orientation and proctoring of final exams. Helps to create final exam schedule. Attend Summer Program Planning Committee meetings. Assist students with issues that arise and help with problem resolution. Troubleshoot any difficulties or problems. Collaborate with coordinators of other summer programming. Monitors programs throught the student dates. Completes a summary report in August, at the conclusion of the Summer Credit Recovery Program. Plans and prepares the program beginning in February. Additional planning hours may be necessary from February-June for approximately 5-10 hours per month. Qualifications
Possess an educator licensure and/or certification in Delaware. Notes
