Overview
Galliford Try is looking for a Document Controller to join our Infrastructure division, supporting the successful delivery of Local Authority projects across Northamptonshire. The role is based primarily on a key project in the Northampton area, with occasional requirements to support other schemes within the region on an ad-hoc basis. We focus on delivering excellent information management and compliance to support project delivery. Responsibilities Support the design team by organising and sharing important project documents on time Learn and follow our company processes for managing information across projects Act as a link between the design and site teams to ensure key documents and handover information are shared clearly Build good working relationships with team members at all levels Assist with document workflows, change requests, and ensuring files are stored correctly in our digital system Help set up and manage digital folders and access for users of the digital system Keep records up to date, verify documents are stored properly, and follow company standards Produce reports and share them with the team or external partners as required
About you / Qualifications
Great communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work well with different teams Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay calm under pressure, and meet deadlines Willing to learn new systems and technology quickly A team player who shares our values of Excellence, Passion, Integrity, and Collaboration, and always puts safety first Previous experience using ViewPoint would be advantageous but is not essential
