Teacher , you will play a pivotal role in shaping

High School

student success by implementing proven instructional strategies aligned with ChanceLight Education methodologies and Ombudsman policies. Your role includes delivering targeted instruction, utilizing innovative curriculum resources, integrating educational software, and creating comprehensive lesson plans and schedules tailored to the diverse physical, emotional, and educational needs of each student, in alignment with state and school standards. Responsibilities

Deliver engaging instruction using diverse curriculum materials and educational software tools tailored to student needs. Develop comprehensive daily lesson plans and structured classroom schedules that align with state guidelines and school requirements. Collaborate with special education teachers and support staff to differentiate instruction and ensure accommodations for student success. Implement clear behavioral standards and classroom management practices to establish a structured, safe learning environment. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student progress, challenges, achievements, and factors influencing performance. Participate in team meetings to address student needs and strengthen the educational support network for students and families. Assess and track student progress through classroom data collection and analysis to inform instructional practices and interventions. Stay current with research-based educational practices and innovations within the subject area to enhance instructional quality. Respond constructively to formal evaluations and informal feedback, fostering ongoing professional development and growth. Contribute to the broader educational community by performing additional responsibilities to support the program’s mission and student success. Qualifications

Associate's degree or higher in education or a closely related field. Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a closely related field preferred. Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a valid state teaching credential preferred. Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a valid English teaching credential preferred. Ability to obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Card. Experience with curriculum development, differentiation and instruction in an educational setting. Experience and/or knowledge in alternative educational services for at-risk students with diverse needs is preferred. Experience teaching high school level subjects, preferably in an alternative education program. Proven ability to develop and implement education plans for diverse learners. Ability to motivate students and have constructive conversations to move them toward goals. Experience with students who have IEPs. Ability to think and act quickly and calmly in emergencies and make independent decisions. Strong oral and written communication, instruction, curriculum, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Knowledge of relevant technology including instructional technology, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic office equipment. About the Organization
