Staffmark Drivers is seeking new talent in Kansas City, MO, and hiring an experienced Class A Delivery Driver to join our team! Looking to earn some extra holiday cash? This is your chance - we have immediate openings for seasonal drivers covering local and regional routes!
Pay: $29.50 per hour + overtime
Schedule: Monday through Saturday, start times between 12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. (5-6 day workweek; routes may include 1-2 layovers per week or local runs)
Job Details:
Route Info: Covers a 700-mile radius
Touch Freight: Yes - heavy touch freight (boxed product, 50-90 lbs)
Hauling: Boxed products for delivery to multiple stops (3-5 per day)
Unload Product Using: Conveyor belt at dock
Lifting: Up to 90 lbs
Vehicle Type: Class A tractor-trailer (sleeper or day cab)
Job Duties:
Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination to complete assigned routes
Comply with all company policies and Federal/State DOT regulations
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
Bump docks and offload boxed product to conveyor
Represent Staffmark and our clients in a professional and courteous manner
Required Qualifications:
Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card
No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents within 3 years
Clear FMCSA Clearinghouse Report
Acceptable MVR and ability to pass pre-employment screening(s)
At least 1 year of verifiable driving experience, within the last 3 years
