Proven track record building end?to?end test strategies for complex, front?to?back workflows. Hands?on experience with legacy mainframe systems: understanding how the mainframe processes data, designing and validating data?migration flows from mainframe to distributed tiers, and testing those migrations in the live mainframe environment. Strong influencer: comfortable partnering with Product, DevOps, Engineering and Operations to embed quality throughout the delivery lifecycle. Skilled at balancing PODs individual priorities while maintaining a coherent, end?to?end test strategy across both distributed and mainframe platforms. Strategic & Analytical Mindset. Experience defining test roadmaps, metrics/KPIs (e.g., defect leakage, test coverage, automation percentage) and continuously improving them. Skilled at risk?based testing: prioritizing what to test when timelines are tight and leveraging data to drive coverage decisions. Process & Tooling Savvy. Hands?on with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, DevOps) to build automation into nightly/regression suites. Expert in Playwright for UI automation and Insomnia for API testing. Familiarity with modern test management platforms TestRail, qTest and defect?tracking tools JIRA. Exceptional verbal and written communicator able to translate technical test results into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non?technical audiences. Proactive in surfacing risks early and driving cross?team alignment on scope, timelines and acceptance criteria.
