Title: HR Generalist

Location: Atlanta, GA (Full-time, on-site; may require occasional travel for training, recruiting, or company events)

About The Job: Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by our client to recruit for an HR Generalist to join their team. As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in administering HR policies, procedures, and programs, and serve as a trusted resource to employees and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and payroll
  • Support full-cycle recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Administer employee benefit programs and assist employees with benefits questions and enrollment
  • Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
  • Assist with employee relations matters by documenting issues, conducting investigations, and supporting performance improvement efforts
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; recommend best practices to maintain compliance
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS and personnel files
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Support annual performance review, compensation, and benefits renewal processes
  • Participate in HR initiatives such as engagement programs, DEI efforts, and training and development activities
  • Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to support data-driven decisions
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
