As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in administering HR policies, procedures, and programs, and serve as a trusted resource to employees and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and payroll
- Support full-cycle recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Administer employee benefit programs and assist employees with benefits questions and enrollment
- Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
- Assist with employee relations matters by documenting issues, conducting investigations, and supporting performance improvement efforts
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; recommend best practices to maintain compliance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS and personnel files
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Support annual performance review, compensation, and benefits renewal processes
- Participate in HR initiatives such as engagement programs, DEI efforts, and training and development activities
- Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to support data-driven decisions
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- 3-5 years of progressive HR experience preferred
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
