Phlebotomist
Phlebotomist blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, record data, and decontamination. Updating patient information. Collects and stores specimens via venipuncture blood drawing and or other specimen collection ex. urine/fecal. Demonstrates straight needles, butterfly needles technique. Understands lab orders, physicians' orders, blood work orders. Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes. Labels centrifuge split. Freezes specimens as required by test order. Stores specimen sample according to required temperature. Places samples in appropriate collection container/tube accurately follows different procedures as outlined by specific protocol deemed necessary for transport to maintain integrity of the specimen. Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- 1+ year of phlebotomy experience in medical diagnostic lab setting or hospital laboratory
- Proficient in venipunctures in lab or hospital lab setting
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience Level: Entry Level
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
