Territory Sales Manager (WA/OR/MT/ID/AK/HI)
Our firm has been retained to find a
Territory Sales Representative
to lead sales growth and market development in the Northwest region. This role drives revenue through a well-established distribution network while developing strong relationships with key stakeholders — including end users, OEMs, architects, engineers, and national accounts.
This is an outside sales position based from a home office within the regional territory — ideally near the
Seattle or Portland metro area .

to lead sales growth and market development in the Northwest region. This role drives revenue through a well-established distribution network while developing strong relationships with key stakeholders — including end users, OEMs, architects, engineers, and national accounts.
This is an outside sales position based from a home office within the regional territory — ideally near the
Seattle or Portland metro area .
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy across distributors, OEMs, architects/engineers, consultants, and key accounts.
Build and maintain a strong network of distributors to maximize market coverage and achieve sales goals.
Provide product knowledge and sales training to distributors, ensuring proper application and installation of fire suppression systems and equipment.
Conduct market analysis within the region to identify growth opportunities and monitor competitive activity.
Execute marketing programs and campaigns to support product awareness and sales objectives.
Prepare and submit all required reports, forecasts, CRM updates, and expense documentation promptly.
Manage the region’s sales performance and travel budget effectively.
Represent the company at trade associations and industry events (e.g., NAFED, NFPA, and State FED associations).
Deliver product presentations and technical training sessions to distributors, end users, engineers, and consultants.
Travel up to 50% of the time, including occasional evenings and weekends for customer or industry events.

Ability to develop and execute a territory sales plan, achieving both revenue and margin objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in
distributor sales of industrial products ; fire suppression or life safety product background strongly preferred.
Proficiency with
Microsoft Excel, Teams, Power BI, CRM systems, and web/social media tools .
