SDR Manager – Outbound Sales Development Team XILO, a fast-growing vertical AI company backed by top‑tier investors and fresh off our Series A round, is looking for a high‑impact Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager to lead, develop and scale our outbound SDR team. This person will be responsible for growing, developing and coaching a team of Sales Development Representatives focused on booking qualified meetings across mid‑market and enterprise segments. This is a high‑ownership role with significant visibility and a direct impact on company revenue, and an opportunity to be a key leader at XILO at the early stages of our company‑building journey.

About the Role As the Manager of our SDR team, you will be responsible for leading and scaling XILO’s outbound prospecting engine. You’ll build, develop and coach a team of SDRs who are on the frontlines of the sales process — generating pipeline, booking meetings, and engaging ideal customer profiles across financial and insurance markets.

You will design and execute outreach strategies, implement AI‑powered workflows, and ensure our team is continuously improving and hitting key pipeline goals. This role is ideal for a hands‑on sales leader who thrives in fast‑paced, early‑stage environments and wants to build a high‑performance, repeatable outbound motion from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a growing team of Sales Development Representatives focused on outbound outreach, prospecting, and demo booking

Set clear KPIs around meetings booked, email/call conversion rates, and pipeline influenced; report weekly on KPIs and pipeline outcomes to sales leadership

Build daily workflows and performance routines using tools like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Dialpad

Leverage AI prompting and tools (e.g., Claude) to help reps personalize messaging and improve call productivity

Provide weekly 1:1 coaching and daily call reviews to ensure messaging, tone, and approach align with best practices

Build outreach playbooks and email/call scripts aligned with our ICP and value proposition

Drive SDR hiring, onboarding, training, and career progression

Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure a smooth handoff and pipeline quality

Continuously optimize the team’s structure, tools, and workflows to scale performance

What We’re Looking For

Proven track record of leading SDR teams to exceed pipeline generation goals; with at least 2+ years of outbound SDR experience

Strong understanding of prospecting tools: Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Dialpad

Experience championing the adoption of AI tools to guide outbound messaging and productivity

Strong coaching and team development skills

Excellent communication and leadership presence

Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving startup

Data‑driven approach to pipeline generation and team management

Ability to work in‑person with the SDR team at our XILO office in San Diego
