Project Accounting Manager
Location: Queens, NY (Hybrid)

Base pay range: $120,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Track and monitor project budgets, job costs, and contract compliance
Experience with ProCore
Familiarity with NY State sales and use tax regulations (preferred)
Responsibilities
Monitor project budgets, job costs, and contract compliance to ensure financial accuracy
Maintain detailed job cost records and support monthly WIP reporting
Review subcontractor invoices and verify union compliance documentation
Collaborate with project managers to reconcile cost variances and refine budget forecasts
Evaluate AIA G702/G703 applications for accuracy and compliance with contract terms
Confirm subcontractor billings align with approved scopes, budgets, and funding requirements
Prepare and maintain audit‑ready documentation for financial and regulatory reviews
Coordinate with compliance, procurement, and subcontractors on certification and reporting requirements
Support preparation of financial statements and project cost reports for management and external stakeholders
Ensure adherence to GAAP and applicable state and local financial regulations
