Pilates Instructor

to join our team and help members lead happier, healthier lives through engaging, educational classes that protect the integrity of the Life Time Brand.

Position Summary Pilates Instructors are responsible for supporting members, building relationships, providing a positive educational experience, and upholding the Life Time brand.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention.

Monitor and instruct clients during Pilates training sessions on safe and effective use of equipment.

Conduct fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to recommend Pilates training programs.

Instruct both private and group Pilates classes.

Promote and sell Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes, and Personal Training to members.

Complete all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan.

Maintain cleanliness of the Pilates studio.

Stay current on industry certifications and trends.

Educate members on current health and fitness issues and trends.

Ensure members feel competent, confident, and connected by providing superior customer service through complimentary and tailored services/programming.

Document all aspects of client programming.

Maintain current credentials and continuing education to advance through the levels program.

Provide fitness floor assistance to ensure safety, provide education, and motivate members.

Position Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.

1 year of personal training experience.

Experience in Pilates program design.

Certified Pilates Trainer.

Trained and Certified in Reformer, Tower, Chair, and Barrels.

Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.

CPR and AED Certified.

Preferred Requirements

150–400 hours comprehensive Pilates Certificate (minimum education to include Mat, Reformer, Tower, Chair).

Pay Commissions between 10% and 60% depending on the product and team member productivity. Weekly minimum pay will at least be the applicable minimum wage for each hour worked.
