Key Responsibilities
Administer and manage Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Meet, Chat, etc.).
Configure and manage Chrome devices using the Google Admin Console.
Create and maintain user accounts, groups, shared mailboxes, and access controls.
Enforce security, compliance, and data protection policies.
Deploy, update, and support Chromebooks and educational applications.
Troubleshoot Chrome OS, hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Provide Tier 1–2 technical support to staff and educators.
Maintain device inventory, asset tracking, and documentation.
Monitor system performance, usage reports, and security alerts.
Collaborate with instructional technology and IT operations teams.
Document procedures, create user guides, and provide training as needed.
Required Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration, preferably in an educational or government setting.
Hands‑on experience managing
Google Workspace
and
Chrome OS
environments.
Knowledge of network connectivity, Wi‑Fi troubleshooting, and endpoint security.
Familiarity with device imaging, remote management, and cloud‑based systems.
Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Google Certified Administrator or Google IT Support Professional certification.
Experience with large‑scale Chromebook deployments.
Familiarity with content filtering, compliance reporting, or educational applications.
Knowledge of Apple device support and management.
Working Conditions
Hybrid work environment (3 days onsite, 2 days remote after 6 months).
