Overview
Pay: $20/ hour PLUS bonus pay
Location: On-site (Pasadena, CA)
Schedule: Starting 18-24 hours per week, Day shift. Our operating hours are 9:00-4:00 PM Monday through Friday, Saturday and Sunday we are closed. Work days can be flexible depending on the applicant's schedule.

Role
We are looking to hire an Administrative/Personal Assistant to join our team and contribute to our success as a leader in the Property and Casualty recruiting space. As an Administrative/Personal Assistant, you provide value by helping things run smoothly, and have a solution-oriented approach to any task that arises. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter and excited to tackle new challenges, under the guidance and support of our team. In addition, there is room for upward growth for candidates that are interested in Recruiting/Sales as a potential career.
Responsibilities
- Secretarial duties including: Schedule meetings, answer emails and phone calls, note-taking/transcription for other staff.
- Customer service: Respond to any questions or inquiries from vendors, manage vendor relationships
- Office management: Maintain a neat and organized office environment, keep inventory and restock supplies, light housekeeping (dusting, wiping down frequently touched surfaces)
- Social media management: Oversee company Linkedin profile, send connections and in-mails to prospective candidates, generate content and aim to boost user engagement
- Personal assistance: Occasional errands including lunch pickup, mail drop off/delivery, and other requests as needed
Qualifications
- Applicants must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, execute all assignments in a timely and efficient manner
- Applicants should be highly collaborative and comfortable working with other staff members/ management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; currently enrolled in a college/university program or recent graduate (preferred)
- 1-2 years of experience or basic proficiency using Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint (required)
- 1-2 years of Administrative, Reception, or Customer Service experience (preferred)
- Proficiency using various social media networking platforms (preferred)
Our office is located in Pasadena, CA in the heart of the Old Town District. There are several restaurants and shops within walking distance including Urth Caffe, Sweetgreen, Blaze Pizza, etc.
