Adams & Martin Group is seeking a reliable and hands‑on Office Services Assistant to support a full‑service defense law firm in San Francisco. This is a temporary role with the potential to convert to permanent employment. The firm is currently undergoing an office move, and this position will play a key role in supporting both locations within walking distance of each other.
Position Overview:
The Office Services Assistant will provide essential support to the firm's operations team, including copy and print services, mailroom duties, and general facilities support. The ideal candidate is organized, physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate high‑volume copiers, printers, and scanners; ensure timely completion of print jobs and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
Sort, distribute, and prepare outgoing mail and packages; coordinate with courier services and maintain delivery logs.
Monitor and restock office supplies; assist with ordering and receiving inventory.
Support setup and breakdown of workstations, conference rooms, and common areas; assist with furniture and equipment moves between offices.
Respond to staff requests for office services; maintain cleanliness and organization in shared spaces; report maintenance issues.
Collaborate with Office Services, Facilities, and Administrative teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
Prior copy center experience is preferred.
Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs.
Experience in copy/print support and mailroom operations.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Professional demeanor and team‑oriented attitude.
Availability to start immediately.
