Job Overview
Senior Cloud Engineer at ASML Foundation. ASML US, including its affiliates and subsidiaries, brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy?efficient microchips. The Senior Cloud Engineer is responsible for the development, delivery, and performance assurance of applications and software solutions. He/she works in close collaboration with ASML business stakeholders, incorporating user?defined needs and feedback to improve application design and optimize performance. Duties and Responsibilities Collaborates with teams across various projects and customers on feasibility studies and application customizations. Responsible for software build and development support activities for systems local or remote, including installation, software patching, system security, data backup, storage management, VM management, and problem analysis. Performs remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions. Serves as Tier?1/Tier?2 point of contact and owner of problems/incidents. Logs all customer requests and updates calls using the designated call?handling and tracking system. Defines improvement proposals focused on system performance and process efficiency for end users and investigates and implements non?standard changes with a limited scope. Supports and takes ownership of requests from engineering to help solve these requests. Ensures all IT standard processes and procedures and Service Level Agreements are met. Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering. Masters degree a plus. 8 years of related and proven experience in large technical software development environments.

Other Information
This position is located on?site in Wilton, CT. It requires onsite presence to attend in?person work?related events, training and meetings. A flexible workplace arrangement may be available for employees working in roles conducive to remote work (up to two days a week). Required physical activities: routinely sit, walk, talk, use hands to keyboard and hands?on tasks, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close, color, peripheral, and depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for the entire shift.
