At Premier Eyecare, we’re dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-focused eye care in a welcoming and modern environment. Our team prides itself on fostering a collaborative and supportive workplace where our doctors and staff can thrive. We’re currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Optometric Physician to join our growing team. We are located in Farragut, an affluent area in West Knoxville with a diverse population. We started our practice in 2002, and in 2018, moved into our new 5,000 square foot office. We are highly involved with specialty contact lenses, myopia management, medical optometry, and dry eye treatment. We have a large optical showroom with three licensed opticians on staff, five technicians/scribes, two front desk administrators, and a wonderful office manager who has been with our practice since our beginnings. Our new associate will have their own private office and restroom and have the opportunity to practice to the full scope of their license. Job Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages Diagnose and manage ocular diseases (e.g., glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, keratoconus) Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses with accuracy and care Educate patients on eye health, treatment plans, and preventive care Collaborate with optical and support staff to ensure excellent patient experience Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using EHR Stay current on new technologies and best practices in optometry Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school Active state optometry license (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Excellent clinical and communication skills Friendly, patient-focused demeanor New grads welcome to apply! What We Offer
