Controls/Software Engineer – Themed Entertainment & Industrial Automation

What You’ll Do We’re looking for a hands‑on Controls/Software Engineer to design, develop, and support PLC‑based control systems for high‑profile entertainment attractions, ride/show systems, and advanced automation solutions. You’ll be involved in all project phases—from control system design and programming to on‑site commissioning and testing.
Key Responsibilities
Develop control software for entertainment and industrial systems
Program and commission PLC‑based automation systems (Rockwell, Siemens, Beckhoff)
Support on‑site FAT/SAT, test and adjust, and troubleshooting
Collaborate with internal teams and clients in fast‑paced project environments
Travel to domestic/international project sites as required
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of experience in automation or controls engineering
Proficient in Ladder Logic and/or Structured Text
Hands‑on with one or more control platforms: Rockwell (Studio 5000, RSLogix), Beckhoff (TwinCAT)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (EE, Mechatronics, CS, ME, or related)
Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Skills
Experience in themed entertainment, ride/show control, or safety‑critical systems
Knowledge of motion control, VFD commissioning, and real‑time applications
Programming in C/C++, C#, or Python
HMI development using Ignition, FactoryTalk, Wonderware, or similar
Familiarity with network architecture, risk analysis, and safety systems
