Seeking a Civil Structural Engineer to perform independent civil, structural, and architectural (CSA) engineering work for energy projects. The role involves planning, designing, and coordinating civil site development activities while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.
Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and execute engineering work related to civil site development, including drainage, grading, pavements, utilities, and structural components.
Develop and review design deliverables such as drawings, calculations, specifications, and cost estimates.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, suppliers, and contractors.
Utilize 2D/3D CADD tools and standard application programs such as MicroStation, InRoads, and Smart3D.
Prepare technical evaluations, bid documents, and reports.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
Ensure adherence to industry codes and standards (AASHTO, ACI, ASTM, etc.) and promote safe, collaborative work practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
Minimum 6 years of relevant project experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Proficiency in 2D/3D CADD and civil design software.
Strong knowledge of civil site development, construction methods, and applicable standards.
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
