Senior Operations Planner – Demand Planning
This role is responsible for improving demand forecast accuracy for AP items within PSG to enhance customer satisfaction, sales, profitability, and overall supply chain performance. It supports cross‑functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Technical teams to manage product lifecycle activities, including new product introductions and ongoing demand planning. The role also leads Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives and facilitates Sales and Operational Planning reviews to ensure alignment with customer and brand strategies.
Base Pay Range $73,106.80/yr – $92,215.23/yr
Travel 20% travel.
Responsibilities
Continuously improve demand forecast accuracy for finished goods to enhance customer satisfaction, sales, profitability, and supply chain effectiveness.
Assist Sales, Marketing, Materials/Purchasing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Technical teams in product lifecycle management, including new product introductions and demand planning for current products.
Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts; participate in research activities to reconcile variances and refine forecasts.
Execute product lifecycle management and lead Lean, Continuous Improvement projects and Sales and Operational Planning reviews supporting assigned customers and brands.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 18 years of age.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain or four (4) years of relevant work experience.
Two (2) years of experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Sales, or Operations.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain.
Three (3) years of experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Sales, or Operations.
APICS CPIM Certification.
Experience with Blue Yonder Solutions, Business Objects‑DSF & SCIS, QAD, REACH, AOM, and IVAN.
Experience in Procurement, Technical, or Manufacturing within the coatings industry.
