Responsibilities
Maintain the inventory and supply within the TerraPower enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for laboratory chemicals, equipment, and other related consumables.
Restock and maintain a minimum quantity of laboratory supplies essential for the production and operations.
Ensure the safe storage of TPI project material, including appropriate weather protection, seismic bracing, temperature controls, and hazardous material segregation.
Maintain an auditable record‑keeping system for inventories and logistics.
Unpack and move TPI project material using pallet jacks, powered industrial trucks such as forklifts, mobile elevated work platforms, and basic powered and unpowered hand tools for assembly/disassembly of packing materials and equipment.
Assist the Quality Control Technicians in segregating materials that fail receipt inspection.
Assist in the shipping and tracking of actinium products to customers.
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly working environment.
Assist in the development of process improvements and efficiency across the logistics chain.
Key Qualifications and Skills
Associate Degree or equivalent military experience.
Minimum two years of experience in warehouse logistics operations in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or regulated industry under a quality assurance program.
Proficient in maintaining an organized arrangement of materials used in a pharmaceutical setting; solid understanding of inventory control and usage techniques (material quarantine, inspection and release, FIFO/FEFO, SLED tracking, and material disposal tracking and reporting).
Good computer working knowledge for data entry, record‑keeping, and shipping/transfer records.
Proficient in the use of basic unpowered and powered hand tools.
Experienced with powered industrial trucks used in a warehouse environment.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Maintains a current driver’s license.
Possesses a high degree of trust and integrity, communicates openly, and displays respect and a desire to foster teamwork.
Job Functions
Motor abilities: Sitting and/or standing for extended periods; bending/stooping; grasping/gripping; fine motor control (hands).
Physical exertion: Frequent lifting of up to 50+ pounds, with work in odd positions as required.
Repetitive work: Intermittent.
Special senses: Visual and audio acuity for safety in an industrial setting.
Work conditions: Radiochemistry laboratory and industrial warehouse. The majority of work occurs in and around the warehouse, with occasional support inside the radiochemistry laboratory.
Schedule: Normal 5‑day per week, with flexibility for off‑hour repairs, timed outages, and shipping delays.
Travel required: TerraPower’s technology is controlled for export by various U.S. Government agencies. Applicants who are foreign nationals may be limited based on export control requirements.
Salary Range Level 6: $62,489 – $93,733 (Washington State). Level 7: $76,599 – $114,899 (Washington State).
