As a Power BI Administrator you will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects. You will manage, configure, and optimize enterprise-level reporting and analytics platforms, including Power BI Report Server, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), Azure Analysis Services (AAS), and other related tools. Your role will focus on automation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure seamless functionality and scalability of reporting systems. Responsibilities Experience in ITIL processes on incident, change, configuration management and governance. Configure, monitor, and optimize Power BI Report Server (PBIRS), SSRS, SSAS, and AAS for seamless functionality and performance. Automate tasks such as report deployments, backups, scaling, and audit log processing using PowerShell, Python, and REST APIs. Perform server health monitoring, resource optimization, SSL certificate renewals, encryption key backups, and disaster recovery planning. Configure role-based security, Active Directory integration, and row?level security while managing access requests and ensuring compliance with governance policies. Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in reports, cubes, and semantic models, optimizing refresh schedules, DAX queries, and model designs. Set up integrations with external applications, manage data sources and partitions, and ensure compliance with data governance policies. Collaborate with cross?functional teams to support BI developers and end?users, educate teams on report optimization, and onboard new features. Develop internal reports for cost/usage analysis, monitor workspace capacities, and automate reporting pipelines for proactive issue resolution. Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment. Must be able to work in a 24x7 production support environment. Participate in an on?call rotation for support of systems outside normal business hours.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to any of the hub locations: Tempe, AZ; Richardson, TX; Raleigh, NC; Hartford, CT; Indianapolis, IN; Providence, RI. Candidate should work according to the PST time zone. Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required. Consideration for three years of relevant work experience in lieu of each year of education. At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology. Strong experience with Power BI Report Server, SSRS, SSAS, and AAS. Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, REST APIs). Expertise in Active Directory, role?based security, and authentication protocols. Hands?on experience with server upgrades, patching, and disaster recovery planning. Hands?on experience with SQL Server, Databricks, and data governance policies. Strong troubleshooting skills for incident tickets and performance issues.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with MS Fabric and SAS platforms. Familiarity with monitoring tools and capacity planning. Knowledge of DAX query optimization and tabular model design. Familiarity with integrating reporting tools with external applications. Proven ability to educate and mentor development teams on best practices. Experience in developing internal cost/usage and metadata reports. Ability to work in a team in a diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment. Experience in the healthcare domain is a plus. Analytical skills. Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
