POSITION PROFILE The Program Manager will lead and oversee critical technology development and deployment projects. This role requires a dynamic individual with exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills to ensure successful execution of programs from inception to completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and manage cross‑functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Define program objectives, develop detailed project plans, and manage execution to meet technical and business goals.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project deliverables.

Manage program risks and opportunities by proactively identifying challenges and implementing mitigation strategies.

Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business development teams to meet customer and company objectives.

Prepare and deliver regular program updates, reports, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and contractual requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (advanced degree preferred).

5+ years of technical experience in optics related fields (lasers, detectors, optics, or systems).

5+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in aerospace, defense, or high‑technology industries.

Strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes, particularly in photonics or sensor technologies, is a plus.

Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders.

Proficiency in program management tools and methodologies (e.g., Microsoft Project, Agile, or PMP certification).

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Requires U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status required.

IDEALLY, YOU’LL ALSO HAVE

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high efficiency and productivity.

Experience working in an ITAR environment.

TRAVEL Little travel is expected for this position, although some out‑of‑area and overnight travel may be required.

SALARY RANGE $120,000-$200,000 annual salary, plus participation in individual performance bonus plan.
