Job Description SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) Manager, also referred to as an EHS Manager or HSE Manager, plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe and healthy workplace, as well as protecting the environment.

Develop and implement comprehensive safety, health, and environmental programs and policies that meet regulatory requirements.

Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA), and industry standards.

Conduct risk assessments, identify hazards, and develop strategies to minimize accidents and environmental impact.

Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.

Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees.

Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance.

Develop and implement emergency response plans, coordinate drills, and manage emergency situations.

Identify areas for continual improvement and drive initiatives to reduce workplace risks.

Collaborate with engineering, operations, and human resources to integrate safety into all organizational processes.

Prepare reports on safety performance, incidents, and regulatory compliance.

Develop and manage the safety budget and resources.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering, occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field.

2-5 years of EHS/SHE management experience, especially in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industries.

Professional certifications such as CSP or ASP are desirable.

Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, risk assessment tools, incident investigation techniques, and EHS software.

Strong communication, leadership, problem‑solving, decision‑making, and organizational skills.
