About the Company A stealth-mode technology venture is redefining the way intelligent robotic systems operate in complex, real-world environments. With a culture rooted in innovation, precision, and bold experimentation, the team is building advanced automation solutions that seamlessly bridge hardware and software. If you’re passionate about solving technical puzzles at the intersection of robotics, AI, and autonomy, this is an opportunity to help shape a next‑generation platform from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

Lead the development of robotics software systems, with a focus on motion planning, perception, and autonomy.

Design and implement algorithms that enable robots to sense, plan, and act in dynamic environments.

Work hands‑on with sensor data (cameras, LiDAR, IMUs, depth sensors) to enhance localization, mapping, and object recognition.

Tune, debug, and test sensor‑fusion and motion‑control algorithms to improve system reliability and accuracy.

Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to optimize performance across embedded systems, control architectures, and simulation environments.

Develop and maintain tools and pipelines for robotic simulation (Gazebo, MuJoCo, Isaac Sim, or PyBullet).

Partner with the software team to integrate AI/ML pipelines, including reinforcement learning for motion or control optimization.

Mentor junior engineers and interns , contributing to a culture of technical excellence and creative problem solving.

Prototype, iterate, and experiment rapidly to explore new ideas in robot behavior and autonomy.

Must-Have Qualifications

5+ years of experience in robotics software engineering, motion planning, or perception systems (exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered).

Strong understanding of both hardware and software components in robotic systems.

Experience with at least a few of the following: SLAM, Visual Odometry (VO/VIO), or 3D reconstruction; depth estimation, stereo vision, or LiDAR‑based perception; obstacle avoidance, trajectory, or path planning; sensor calibration and synchronization.

Hands‑on familiarity with simulation tools such as Gazebo, MuJoCo, Isaac Sim, or PyBullet.

Proficiency with C++, Python, and ROS/ROS2 or equivalent frameworks.

Demonstrated ability to “figure it out” – creative, resourceful, and comfortable solving ambiguous problems.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Exposure to reinforcement learning and AI/ML pipeline development.

Experience with agentic AI or adaptive autonomy systems.

Background in high-performance or real-time robotics systems.

Technical leadership experience – mentoring, reviewing code, or guiding small teams.

Startup or cross‑functional R&D environment experience.

Location & Work Type Flexible hybrid role; on-site presence required periodically for testing and integration.

Visa Eligibility Eligible candidates may be supported under TN Visa, OPT, or EAD status. Unfortunately, H‑1B sponsorship is not available at this time.

Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary with performance-based incentives and comprehensive benefits.

Our Culture We value curiosity, humility, and initiative. You’ll thrive here if you’re a systems thinker who enjoys experimenting, collaborating, and learning from every challenge.
