Microsoft’s Enterprise Account Team focuses on empowering customers on their AI Transformation journey. The team envisions new possibilities, delivers solutions that result in targeted business outcomes, and drives revenue growth for Microsoft.

As a Strategic Account Technology Strategist, you will design and drive cutting‑edge technology initiatives in partnership with customers to achieve their business outcomes and support Microsoft’s objectives. Paired with an Enterprise Account Executive, you will leverage a cross‑functional team to build and grow a network of technology executives, bring industry‑relevant solutions, and help customers adopt and embrace AI technologies. With a history of innovating technical solutions and meeting account growth targets, you will combine technology and industry knowledge to deliver AI solutions that accelerate customers’ AI vision and become their trusted technology advisor.

Responsibilities

Document and articulate the customer’s business objectives, technology landscape, and AI and Security strategy.

Drive Microsoft business growth, including partner co‑sell motions and governance around consumption.

Lead AI, data, and migration conversations, as well as security discussions, demonstrating alignment to the customer’s business priorities.

Apply industry expertise to build AI strategy aligned to business outcomes, challenging customers’ assumptions with constructive dialogue.

Provide thought leadership to identify and develop the right industry sales kits and partners within the customer’s vertical.

Articulate and understand industry‑related market trends, threats, opportunities, and barriers to growth as they relate to the customer’s industry.

Qualifications Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field and at least 7 years of technical consulting, technical consultative selling, practice building, or related technical/sales/industry experience (or equivalent).

3+ years of software development and security background.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field and at least 14 years of technical consulting, technical consultative selling, practice building, or related technical/sales/industry experience (or equivalent).

5+ years of experience in digital transformation or using technology to drive customer business outcomes.

4+ years of experience in business consulting, consultative selling, or change management.

5+ years of experience leading technical, support, and/or partner teams.

Strategic Account Technology IC5 – Base pay range: USD $130,900–$251,900 per year (San Francisco Bay Area: $165,600–$272,300).
