What is the Role We are actively seeking a Customer Architect with a strong technical background and hands‑on experience in key IT domains such as Observability, Cybersecurity, and Enterprise Search. A preference for cloud‑based software solutions is expected. This key role involves driving consumption of Elastic solutions, onboarding customers, securing adoption, and facilitating expansion.
What You Will Be Doing
Collaborate with the account team (Account Executive and Solutions Architect) to provide ongoing technical coverage while the account team focuses on new deals.
Own the customer’s technical journey—onboarding, escalation, and solution guidance—to drive product adoption via success plans that help the customer achieve its mission.
Identify opportunities for expansion; hand over to the account team to grow annual recurring revenue (ARR).
Continuously review and assess customer consumption of Elastic solutions, proactively suggesting upgrades and enhancements that increase value.
Create and share mechanisms and assets that accelerate product adoption.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (highly preferred).
Experience working with Federal or State government agencies.
Validated experience in a similar role such as Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, or Pre‑sales Engineer, with hands‑on experience with Elastic solutions or equivalent technologies.
Experience with one or more Elastic solutions (Observability, Security, Enterprise Search) or the Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and the ability to align them with business objectives.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish relationships with customers and team members.
Proven problem‑solving skills, with a track record of delivering innovative solutions.
Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Compensation & Benefits Compensation for this role is a base salary plus a variable component, totaling an On‑Target Earnings (OTE) based on a 70/30 pay mix. The typical starting salary range is $107,500—$170,100 USD, with a target variable range of $46,000—$72,800 USD, resulting in an OTE range of $153,500—$242,900 USD.
In addition to cash compensation, employees are eligible to participate in Elastic’s stock program. Benefits include a company‑matched 401(k) with dollar‑for‑dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, health coverage for employees and families in many locations, flexible working arrangements, generous vacation days, and support for volunteering and parental leave.
