The Division of Pediatric Infectious Disease at Emory University School of Medicine and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta are seeking a candidate to join our clinical faculty. The faculty member will contribute to the clinical, research, and teaching missions of the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Department of Pediatrics, and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. The primary responsibility of the candidate will be attending physician coverage of the inpatient and outpatient clinical services. Opportunities for involvement in inpatient and outpatient antimicrobial stewardship and transplant/immunocompromised patient care activities are available.

Responsibilities

Attend physician coverage of inpatient and outpatient clinical services within the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases.

Participate in inpatient and outpatient antimicrobial stewardship activities.

Provide care for transplant/immunocompromised patients as needed.

Qualifications

MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree.

Pediatric infectious disease board eligible or board certified.

Additional Details Projected start date is 6 July 2026. Employment will be in the Emory + Children’s Pediatric Institute, an affiliation between Emory University and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta that combines the unique strengths and resources of each institution in support of three-part academic missions: outstanding clinical care, innovative basic science discovery and clinical research, and exceptional education of the future healthcare workforce. Note: Position tasks are required to be performed in‑person at an Emory University location; remote work is not an option.
