Director of Accounting – Tap Growth AI Join us as the Director of Accounting to lead our financial operations in Las Vegas. This role requires a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and team management. You will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our financial information and driving efficiency within the department.

Role Expectations • Supervise day‑to‑day accounting team activities for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and Inventory Control.

• Oversee the monthly close process, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements for gaming and government agencies.

• Direct internal and external audit engagements and coordinate year‑end close procedures.

• Mentor and provide career pathing to finance professionals.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the day‑to‑day supervision of the accounting team, including but not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and Inventory Control.

Lead an effective and comprehensive process for all accounting functions, monthly close process, and account reconciliations.

Responsible for the preparation and accuracy of financial statements and reporting.

Maintain comprehensive US GAAP and financial reporting expertise.

Direct internal and external audit engagements; review and approve financial transactions and ensure compliance with monthly, quarterly, and fiscal year‑end close requirements.

Plan, organize, and coordinate the year‑end close process with internal and external auditors.

Ensure compliance with internal controls.

Guide decisions in succession planning, culture, and diversity and inclusion initiatives; mentor and provide career pathing to team members.

Identify and adapt to changes in the economic climate and/or company profits and pivot accordingly.

Maintain records for submission to gaming and government agencies.

Maintain knowledge of current gaming and government regulatory requirements pertaining to financial management, federal and state tax requirements, and audit processes and procedures.

Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and quality output.

Perform other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position directly supervises General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and indirectly supervises Treasury, Payroll, and Inventory Control.

Requirements

Minimum eight (8) years of related accounting, analysis, and/or financial management experience.

Minimum three (3) years of progressive leadership experience.

Strong organizational skills and analytical thinking.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Able to set and successfully drive strategies for both customer loyalty and employee culture programs.

Strong computer proficiency; ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and applicable financial and operational software.

Knowledge of gaming systems and food and beverage systems.

Casino accounting experience preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required).

At least 21 years of age.

Preferred

CPA accredited.

Proficient in using accounting ERP systems such as Workday Financials or similar software.

Experience working in a similar resort setting.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

Must be able to qualify and maintain any and all licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
