Overview Systems Interoperability and Integration Engineer SME within the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) supporting over 110 Air Force, ANG, and AF Reserve installations and bases.
Location & Compensation WORK LOCATION: Hanscom AFB, MA (In Office/On Base 5 days a week)
SALARY RANGE: $150,000 - $165,000 * (depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications)
JOB STATUS Full-time; salaried
SECURITY CLEARANCE Must have an active Secret security clearance
Required Qualifications / Skills
Master’s degree in engineering
15+ years of interoperability and integration engineering experience (at least 5 years in DoD)
Experience in technical requirements development, planning, cybersecurity implementations, IA, system program protection, EM environmental effects analysis, spectrum management, standards implementation, IT analysis, engineering, and technical analysis
Job Responsibilities
Provide knowledge and experience in developing technical requirements, planning, and integrating cybersecurity & IA, system protection, EM E3 analysis, spectrum management, and standards implementation to meet system element compatibility and performance across the lifecycle of weapon systems.
Analyze command, control, communications (C3), IT, and ISR system-of-systems interoperability.
Conduct C3 and ISR technology analysis.
Evaluate machine-to-machine data flows and exchanges technology.
Analyze data for mission planning processes.
Perform IT analysis and architecture development.
Manage communication security (COMSEC) processes.
Conduct interoperability testing and standards conformance.
Lead encryption technology analysis and development.
Support E3 testing, spectrum certification, and cybersecurity accreditation.
Assess protection technologies for Critical Protected Information (CPI).
Ensure technical adequacy and compatibility of system interfaces.
