Job Description This is an Engineering–Manufacturing / industrialization position for new product quotation / development and sustaining programs. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in new product industrialization, with a strong focus on large airframe structures, including expertise in time computation, Determinate Assembly (DA) requirements and techniques, assembly tool methodologies, advanced manufacturing techniques, inspection planning, make/buy analysis, and the development of product and process structures. Proficiency in composite and metallic detailed part manufacturing is highly valued. The candidate will engage and provide constructive feedback to customers, suppliers, design teams, procurement, quality assurance, and other core functions. They will develop and update work instructions, contribute to the creation of Manufacturing Engineering Statements of Work (MESOW), and support site change board processes by developing technical project/action plans. Expertise in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Planning, AS9100 compliance, Tooling, Standard Tooling, Corrective Action, and Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) is required. The candidate should bring solid understanding of Manufacturing Engineering and a strong advantage would be familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and Lean Manufacturing principles.
Scope of Activities
Develop comprehensive cost estimates in response to Requests for Quotation (RFQs), incorporating proposed schedules that include Recurring Costs (RC) and Non‑Recurring Costs (NRC) as needed.
Conduct thorough Make/Buy analyses to optimize resource allocation.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to contribute to product design and establish associated processes.
Review / Comment / Approve Drawings.
Create Bills of Materials and process plans for pre‑procurement and procurement.
Define manufacturing and inspection processes in line with technical, quality‑cost‑schedule, HSE requirements, and budget.
Establish and maintain the manufacturing folder, encompassing manufacturing, repair, and inspection instructions.
Partner with the quality/control department to design the inspection folder and seamlessly integrate it into our systems.
Oversee the definition, organization, monitoring, and updating of items (material master), process plans, and bills of materials within the information system.
Participate in the validation of tooling design studies.
Provide technical data (budget, deadlines, etc.) necessary for tooling manufacture to the tooling design office or subcontractor.
Participate in and organize prototype manufacturing, ensuring quality.
Determine and optimize manufacturing times.
Establish and monitor recurring and non‑recurring industrialization costs (RC/NRC) and implement action plans to meet project targets in terms of cost, safety, and ergonomics.
Provide technical support to production and partners during the development phase and implementation of changes.
Resolve technical issues by offering solutions and responding to quality feedback.
Participate in value analysis and FMEAs (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) for products/processes and propose process or tooling improvements (production time calculations, technology watch, and method updates).
Contribute to defining workstation layouts to align production means and processes.
Participate in structuring new tools (PLM, ERP, etc.) and working methods. Contribute to innovation projects.
Be capable of participating in activity transfers if the industrial plan requires it.
Create technical data in information systems.
Help define and optimize production and/or integration processes for in‑service products.
Help validate definition documents.
Be proficient in information system tools used for creating industrialization dossiers.
Validate manufacturing or assembly processes for workstation‑related jobs.
Design and plan layout for machining, metal forming, plastics processing, welding and brazing, assembly, and materials handling.
Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
Plan the arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.

Qualifications Engineering degree, Mechanical engineering degree, CATIA, PLM (Teamcenter preferred), ERP (SAP preferred), project management experience. English language proficiency required.
