Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This role plays a key part in overseeing the financial activities of our organization, including preparing financial reports, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and standards.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and able to maintain accuracy in an evolving workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Oversee the month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Manage the general ledger and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and other financial transactions
Analyze financial data and provide insights to management to support business decisions
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations
Provide support for external accountants
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
4+ years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
