Job Description As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol in Ocala, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions. You will monitor and patrol assigned locations within financial institutions, playing a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and routine patrols will provide peace of mind to visitors and staff, and your commitment to exceptional customer service and clear communication will create a welcoming environment.

What You'll Do
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, taking appropriate action based on site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help deter security-related risks and report any unusual activity.
Document daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
Assist with access control procedures, verifying authorization for entry and/or exit as needed.
Support emergency response activities according to site guidelines and Allied Universal procedures.
Minimum Requirements
A valid state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
A valid Guard Card is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
