Project Engineer 2 – Edgewater Technical Associates, LLC Location: Los Alamos, NM (On‑Site, TA‑55; occasional driving between site and town may be required).

Citizenship: United States citizenship required.

Work Location: On‑Site.

Schedule: 4/10s with potential for other schedules. Shift work options available for field engineers. 6‑week rotations for weekends/nights.

Clearance: Q‑clearance or ability to obtain.

Per Diem Available for those who qualify.

Summary Supervises the engineering activity (all disciplines) on a project, or designated portions of a project. Plans and directs engineering assignments on the project. Demonstrates technical responsibilities for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating these assignments.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.

Specialized courses in relevant general engineering, architectural design, or an appropriate engineering discipline.

Progressive work experience, including supervision, preferably in project design engineering; may include other relevant types of engineering, including startup, field engineering, or plant operation in large industrial plants, utilities, process plants, or engineering/construction firms.

Software: Fluent in Microsoft 365 or office‑based products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), Microsoft Teams, and ability to learn internal LANL tools.

Ability to work with all levels of project support and leadership.

Desired Qualifications

Skilled problem solver.

Vast electrical background.

Experience with glovebox systems.

Familiarity with manufacturing.

NQA‑1 experience.

Construction experience.

Experience with facility‑based mechanical systems.

DoD and Navy, DoE, Pharma, Regulatory, Oil/Gas/Commercial buildings experience.
