We are seeking an experienced
Eviction Attorney
with a strong background in landlord representation and court litigation. The ideal candidate will manage a portfolio of eviction matters from start to finish, including court appearances, motion practice, and client advisement. This role requires a proactive attorney who can efficiently navigate the default, eviction, and landlord-tenant process while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and procedural requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Represent landlords and property owners in eviction and related landlord-tenant proceedings.
Manage all aspects of the eviction process, including drafting pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences as required.
Review case files, identify legal issues, and develop effective litigation strategies.
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and guidance throughout the process.
Collaborate with support staff to ensure timely and accurate case handling.
Maintain compliance with jurisdictional and procedural rules governing eviction matters.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active admission to practice law in the applicable state(s).
Minimum of
two (2) years’ experience
handling eviction or landlord-tenant cases, with courtroom experience required.
Strong understanding of default, eviction, and landlord-tenant law.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized and able to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
