The firm is looking to add an
Investment Operations Associate
to their team. This individual will support the investment operations and the distribution teams by being responsible for tasks such as trade reporting, trade reconciliation, commission calculations and tracking, and overall operational support across asset management functions. The ideal candidate will have experience with MARS commission software, Salesforce CRM, and strong knowledge of investment operations workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily trade capture, affirmation, and reporting across multiple custodians and counterparties.
Conduct daily and monthly trade reconciliation between portfolio accounting systems, custodians, and internal records.
Monitor settlement processes to identify and resolve issues.
Preparation of regulatory reporting and client reporting deliverables.
Support oversight of fund accounting, pricing, and performance reporting processes.
Collaborate with portfolio management, compliance, and external service teams.
Calculate monthly and quarterly wholesaler sales commissions (internal & external) using MARS software.
Reconcile commission records, validate transactions, and ensure payouts are accurate and timely.
Maintain sales data in Salesforce, ensuring alignment between CRM, MARS, and Finance systems.
Generate regular and ad hoc commission and sales reports for senior management.
Partner with Sales and Finance leadership to provide transparency on distribution performance.
Qualifications
3–5 years in financial services (sales/distribution operations and investment operations)
Direct experience with MARS and Salesforce CRM required.
Familiarity with trade reconciliation, settlement, and investment accounting processes strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required.
CFA, CAIA, or similar designation is a plus.
Skills
Ability to liaise across Sales, Finance, Compliance, and Operations.
