Job Overview Based in The Colony, TX (Grandscape), you will be responsible for playing a key role on the Accounting Team to help ensure all financial information is entered, reported, and communicated in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desire to continue learning and improving job skills to increase personal efficiency and efficiency for the company.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to change and problem solve as the organization develops and grows.
In‑office work environment: The Colony, TX (Grandscape).
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field required.
1-2 years of professional experience as an accounting/finance intern, staff accountant, or financial analyst.
Responsibilities
Record and reconcile revenue in accordance with GAAP and company policies (ASC 606).
Review contracts, invoices, and sales data to ensure correct revenue treatment.
Prepare and maintain revenue schedules, deferrals, and accruals.
Ensure timely and accurate customer billing and revenue entries.
Collaborate with franchisees and operations to resolve billing discrepancies.
Prepare revenue‑related journal entries and reconciliations.
Maintain revenue data accuracy in ERP (Sage Intacct).
Support process improvements and automation initiatives.
Assist with the annual audit process, including working with the team in preparing audit deliverables, drafting narratives, reviewing financials, and assisting with the review and preparation of final audit reports, etc.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
