Associate Attorney - Litigation
Location: New York, NY (Manhattan) Clausen Miller P.C. is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of New York litigation experience in casualty defense, premises liability, and environmental liability. The associate will work under a Senior Partner on each case assigned. Requirements: Licensed in New York (New Jersey optional). New York litigation experience in casualty defense, premises liability, and environmental liability. Excellent academic background and strong reading, writing, communication, and detail-oriented skills. Strength in legal research, drafting, discovery, and court appearances. Compensation and Benefits: Salary range: $95,000 – $115,000. Benefits: health insurance, 401(k), life insurance, CLEs, registration fees, etc. Hybrid schedule acceptable. Responsibilities: Assist with drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery demands, and responses. Assist with the discovery process by administering depositions, issuing interrogatories, and reviewing documents. Take depositions. Perform legal research. Make court appearances.
