Remote Litigation Contract or Temp-to-Hire Attorney
We are working with a boutique real estate and business law firm located in San Juan Capistrano, California, seeking an experienced litigation attorney who can draft briefs and motions and take and defend depositions (virtually) on a contract or temp-to-hire basis. The attorney will also draft oppositions to deposition notices and demurrers; draft and respond to discovery; draft motions to compel; and engage in a full gamut of trial preparation work, including the drafting of jury instructions and motions
in limine
and the preparation of trial exhibits. California state court experience is essential; and the attorney hired must be licensed and in good standing in California.
Responsibilities
Draft briefs and motions.
Take and defend depositions virtually.
Draft oppositions to deposition notices and demurrers.
Draft and respond to discovery.
Draft motions to compel.
Engage in full trial preparation, including jury instructions and motions
in limine .
Prepare trial exhibits.
Qualifications
Experienced litigation attorney.
California state court experience.
Licensed and in good standing in California.
Compensation & Schedule 40 hours per week, remote. Occasional in‑office presence may be required. Compensation $110 per hour. Engagement extends at least through December 8 2025, with potential for temp‑to‑hire opportunities.
