Pay range: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour Location: 341 Great Mall Parkway, Milpitas, CA 95035 On‑call position About the Role
Preschool Substitute Teachers enjoy working with a wide variety of students and implementing an array of teaching methods and techniques. As a substitute, you will support the campus by implementing lesson plans, managing the classroom, and monitoring students. Key Responsibilities
Cover classroom duties as needed. Maintain the orderly arrangement, appearance, and décor of the classroom. Develop relationships with other school staff. Treat all students with kindness and respect. Qualifications
Completed 12‑semester or 18‑quarter early childhood education units covering general areas of early child development, child, family, and community, and program/curriculum or a bachelor’s degree in early childhood development. Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred: prior teaching experience with preschool/pre‑K students. Physical Requirements
Requires frequent walking, standing, sitting, squatting, stooping, reaching, kneeling, rising, twisting, listening, reading, writing, speaking English, and occasionally carrying or lifting items.
