Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Start Date: 12‑08‑25
Length: 13 weeks
Shift Coverage: Scheduled + On‑Call required
Shift Schedule: Standard 4, 8‑Hour 07:00–15:30
Facility Type: Float Pool
Employment type: Temporary
Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthesia management and postoperative pain management.
Collaborate with surgeons, surgical teams and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic plans as needed.
Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions.
Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
Stay current on the latest advancements in anesthesia practice through continuing education.
Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CRNA program.
Active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Minnesota.
National certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
Clinical expertise and technical proficiency in administering anesthesia techniques.
Strong critical thinking, decision‑making, communication, and collaboration skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing patient conditions.
Strong work ethic, stamina and ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
Minimum one year of experience in a clinical anesthesia setting (preferred).
